Ashtar Avatar from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada first became interested in magic from watching David Blaine perform Street Magic on television, and commented that “Blaine made magic pretty cool”. As a result, Ashtar was a big fan of magic, but did not have a desire to learn at that time.

Ashtar Avatar went to University instead and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts With Major (4 year) degree in Psychology from Brock University . Ashtar then became a Certified Hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists. He studied Advance Hypnosis and is also certified in Pain Management and Past Life Regression Therapy and opened up a small practice.

Ashtar also became a certified Energy Healer and started studying magic full time after watching Criss Angel’s Mindfreak show on television. Criss really inspired Ashtar to study magic because he made magic cool by merging a rock star image with that of a performing magician and performed pretty crazy effects.

Ashtar has been studying magic, illusions and mentalism for many years and has focused on performing organic close-up magic and mentalism. He studied in Las Vegas in 2009, learning from the top magicians from all over the world, as well as learning from consultants for Criss Angel and David Blaine.

Ashtar has been performing as a magician doing street magic, public shows, private parties, volunteer/fundraiser shows, and restaurant magic. Ashtar has also found that he has a strong passion for creating magic. He has created many effects, and would love to start releasing his magic soon, create more amazing close up magic, and teach other magicians his magic. In the future, Ashtar would love to have a public theater style magic show performing 3 times a week while inventing, producing, and selling his magic. He will also continue to study and learn for the rest of his life.
